The sturdy back posts are thoughtfully separated by solid softwood spacers, reinforced by a 20 mm thick laminated hardwood stiffening panel. Even at the bottom, typically the weakest part of a vertical piano’s structure, you’ll find a robust, solid hardwood beam.

Developed through extensive analysis and testing, our WF series pianos feature a meticulously designed Impedance Bar, a wood-shaping device that precisely controls the soundboard’s response to different notes and frequencies.

This ingenious design optimizes the size and shape of the soundboard, resulting in a seamless transition between the bass and tenor sections, eliminating unwanted resonances, and refining the piano’s overall tonal quality. So remarkable is this soundboard that our talented designer, Delwin D Fandrich, was granted a U.S. patent for it.
